Concrete Repair & Replacement
Cracks, heaving, crumbling edges and trip hazards rarely get better on their own. Masoncrete Builders repairs and replaces damaged concrete on homes and commercial properties across Suffolk County. In the words of our original site, our repair solutions are designed to restore and strengthen your surfaces, improving durability and appearance while adding to the value of your property.
Repair or replace?
Some damage can be repaired in place; some needs to be removed and re-poured. We look at what is causing the problem (a failed base, water, roots, or utility work) because a patch over an unsolved cause will not last. Our blog covers this decision in more detail.
A real repair, start to finish
The photos on this page are from a repair job along a commercial building. Worn and broken concrete around the utility conduits was saw-cut and broken out, the base was excavated and compacted, and new concrete was placed and finished. The new section was taped off with cones and caution tape while it cured so nobody walked on it too soon.
Common repairs
- Sidewalk and walkway sections (see sidewalks & walkways)
- Driveway sections and aprons (see driveways)
- Steps and stoops (see steps & stoops)
- Concrete around utilities, meters and AC pads
- Wall demolition and reconstruction (see block work)
